$130,000 a year Urgently hiring Vascular is looking for a motivated and experienced Full Time Nurse Practitioner with Cardiology and/or Vascular background to work in our clinic located in

You will work collaboratively with the Interventional Vascular Specialists to provide high quality, patient centered care in an outpatient setting providing state-of-the-art diagnosis and comprehensive treatment of peripheral vascular disease. Responsibilities include seeing new referral patients in the outpatient setting and complete a thorough history and physical examination that is problem-oriented for Peripheral Vascular conditions. Help formulate a treatment plan, order appropriate studies and perform office procedures as directed by the Medical Director. Evaluate postoperative patients and routine follow-up visits. Review and triage Vascular Consults. Collaborate with medical assistants as needed to return phone calls from patients and family members, handle prescription refills, review reports and laboratory reports for abnormalities. Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care Qualifications: Previous Experience In Nursing Or Other Medical Fields Current and unrestricted state license Current and unrestricted DEA license Ability to build rapport with patients Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Retirement plan Paid time off


• Minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience or equivalent

• Completed accredited DOT certificate training program prior to start date

• Completion of the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment

• Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills

• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task

• Initiative, problem solving ability, adaptability and flexibility

• Ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously

• Is proficient with information management and technology

• Capacity to collaborate with professional colleagues as necessary to provide quality care

• Depending on the market, the ability to be proficient in both speaking and writing in additional languages not limited to but including Spanish may be required

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Ability to take and pass a FIT test with the respirators that MinuteClinic provides, and to wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires. This requirement applies to all clinics that have a co-located point of care COVID-19 testing site.

• If less than 1 year of work experience, prior student precepting rotation with Minute Clinic is preferred but not required
